A woman gets a lethal brain tumor, takes a life’s worth of savings and epicly fails.  Forty thousand British pounds is $57,624.  She’s taking money that her mother has been saving for her wedding, and is using it so she can look like Demi Moore in her casket.  Her justification is, “I want to die beautiful.”  God forbid, instead of flushing all that money down the toilet, you donate it to, oh I don’t know…

You, Lisa Connel, are selfish and shallow, and you will never be beautiful in my book.

A dying woman who never gets to get married is selfish to you, JR?  I think that if you’re dying, you get a free pass.  That is my pov.  You wanna spend money that was saved up for something you’ll never get to experience?  Fine.  I’m totally fine with that.  You wanna spend that money going to Europe or living out a fantasy that helps you forget that you’re DYING AHEAD OF EVERYONE ELSE AND THAT YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A NORMAL LIFE, then fine.  I am fine with that, Lisa Connel.  I feel like if you’re gonna be mad at people for not donating to cancer research, start with healthy people - don’t start with the people who are just trying to feel a little bit better about a shitty situation.
