I did not know John Ward very well at all, but I enjoyed watching him perform a lot. Just looking at him made me grin. This Anton Chekov prank is one of my favorite Improv Everywhere bits. It only dawns on me now that I never told him that, and it’s something I really regret.
RIP Dr. Wimpy. I wish I could have gotten to know you better. You will be missed.
John was a kind guy to everyone he met - funny and warm and genuine. I’m glad that I met him, albeit briefly. RIP, sir.
