Things that have been going on:
-Had my 401 halfway show today. This was kind of scary, because I’m used to getting more time with the people I’m in a show with. Immediately after my Harold I was hating myself, but after I got some distance from it, I’m happy with the way things went down. Something I constantly have trouble with is freaking out if no one is laughing. I will instantly go into my head, and forget that to have fun and support my teammates. But I think I’m getting better with that. And I would rather have a supportive set, that I played at the top of my intelligence, than a hilarious set with none of that.
-I did pretty well with my goals this month, except I did not take swing dancing lessons. I did however start volunteering with this organization called Art of Elysium. They have artists go in hospitals and interact with children that are very sick. So…painters might help them paint a picture, and musicians may play music for them.
This month I want to:
-Swing dance. Really.-See “A View From the Bridge”. I like that this is a goal. What a spoiled kid I am.
-Yoga yoga yoga.
-Cook more.
Nothing new really. I should add that I unexpectedly did karaoke for the first time this month. I am taking Eliza’s musical improv, and it is kicking my ass in the best way. It is forcing me to make big choices and be physical, which are two things I struggle with. Also, I love musical theatre in a big way.
I want to go swing dancing too. Dooo it dooo it!
