Phoenix, “1901”
This song is getting a lot of play around people’s best of 2009 lists. It also is the answer to Swiss’s “What is that song” question when watching a car commercial.
For a long time, I thought this band’s name was Phoenix Alphabetical; I didn’t realize just the album I was listening to was called Alphabetical. Oh, who am I trying to fool? I still catch myself calling them that. Sry, P-dawg.
