Weird fears
Whenever it rains, I fight to not mash my lips together because I only do that because of an irrational fear of slipping and cracking my teeth on the sidewalk. I do not run down subway stairs because of this fear.
Whenever a car parallel parks and rubs its tire along the sidewalk edge, I am convinced the tire is going to blow up and fly into pieces and blind me.
