1) Improv rehearsals and hanging out are important.

FP’s logged so many rehearsal hours together and hangout hours - Brett said this earlier, and I have to reiterate in my own way - that I trust and care about Fat Penguin as people, and it makes me trust them as improvisers.  I think that has made me a better player because I feel extremely comfortable taking risks with them.  Learning how to jump off buildings with your friends is fun, and it helps you learn how to jump off buildings in other situations.  I think all that time together in rehearsals helps - and makes you focus on areas like working out at the gym with a trainer.

2) Bring It.

Show commitment is a decision you make as a performer; it is not based on venue.  Sure, there are low-stakes environments like the Creek or basement of Triple Crown.  But I’ve seen some teams commit like hell in both those environments and do some really good work.

3) Lightbulb

Everyone should go to Chili’s.  ooooh!  Let’s do it!
