I love the way this man, Jim Dale, reads Harry Potter on the CDs on tape. My students are listening to these instead of Debussy in their reflection time after lunch. They love it!
if he isn’t british, this is a fucking TRAVESTY!
He is very British and also the nicest man on Earth. He used to come into the sound studio where I worked at to record stuff for the series Pushing Daisies, and he would always stop and chat. Definitely thumbs up. Did you know he was the first Barnum for the show Barnum and won a Tony for it? Now you do if you didn’t.
